Remediant 2021 Highlights

Remediant had a breakthrough 2021. The year was highlighted by measurable growth in subscription ARR, an enviable net customer retention rate, several industry-first product innovations and the Honorable Mention in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for PAM.

New Customers: Our New Subscription ARR grew by 100% over the previous year. More than half of the new ARR in 2021 came due to expansion from existing customers. Net new customers nearly doubled year over year. We crossed the 1 million endpoints protected mark across Windows, Linux and Mac systems.


Customer Growth: Net customer retention hit 125%+ in 2021. We have a very favorable 4.8+ rating on Gartner Peer Insights. These metrics are a testament by our customers about the value they are getting from Remediant SecureONE and the validation of the efforts of our Customer Success team in guiding and expanding adoption of SecureONE for our customers. We have always believed that the only valuable cybersecurity solutions are the ones that the organization actually uses (not “shelfware”) and we’re proud of our team’s ability to deliver on that promise. 

Product Innovation: The agentless Remediant SecureONE product evolved with industry-first milestones on all three tracks: innovation, integration and operational efficiency. This year, we added a slew of new capabilities to SecureONE:

  • We added the industry-first Privilege Access Risk Dashboards that provide new data visualizations for rapid, at-a-glance insight into the privilege sprawl across systems and users, and allows customers to visualize improvements to their privilege access risk over time.
  • EDR integrations. We become integral to customers’ security ecosystem by delivering the industry-first integrations with EDR products: VMware Carbon Black, CrowdStrike and SentinelOne. These innovation-driven capabilities provide unique, differentiated use cases to deliver unprecedented value and further strengthen our customers’ security posture.
  • Remediant introduced the only Privilege Access HealthCheck, which can be deployed and made operational in minutes, receiving high marks from customers and partners that have become increasingly frustrated with legacy PAM products with their expensive deployments and lengthy, custom integrations just to evaluate for proof of value.

Industry Recognition: We refined our marketing position in 2021, building on our key distinction that customers articulated back to us: “Remediant SecureONE Stops Lateral Movement,” and is the only product that truly provides Zero Trust Privilege Security. We have launched several exciting programs with this theme for 2022, working on PR, social media and SEO initiatives to amplify this value and differentiation.

Analyst Recognition: Gartner recognized Remediant with an Honorable Mention in the 2021 Magic Quadrant for Privilege Access Management – an impressive feat that echoes customer needs for Privilege Security and Zero Trust over Compliance initiatives for PAM.

Over 80% of our closed sales in 2021 had a partner attached to them accelerated by the Partners Advantage Program we launched in the second half of 2021. A majority of the Program partners have staff that attained Remediant Sales and Sales Engineer Certifications, qualifying them to sell and demonstrate SecureONE to their end customers and gain additional revenue for their success.

Staffing: We made several important hires in 2021 including individual contributor roles, and hires on the Executive (Raj Dodhiawala, President) and Senior Management (Bill Ronca, EVP, World Wide Field Operations & Jennifer Behrens, Sr. Director, Finance and Operations) teams to accelerate innovation, to execute more efficiently for our customers and to respond to the growing market demand for SecureONE.
